Summary:
Embark on a journey against Mother Earth herself. You will traverse the harsh paths of Mt. Everest as the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, and Pika. Through each of the animals you play, you will learn the cruel fates of sherpas who have fallen before reaching their goal. You will feel encouraged to help them, or perhaps feel forced to. The choice is yours. You will also face the harsh reality of the mountain and have to fend for yourself. This emotional tale of death, grief, and acceptance will surely tug at the heartstrings.
Everest is a 2D Platformer survival game with the first level currently available. Graphics and gameplay will be updated in Q1 2024!
The game was made in 31 days during the Game Off 2023 jam, from 1 Nov 2023 to 1 Dec 2023, based on the theme “Scale”.
My responsibilities includes:
